Driving Force was established under the gap personnel group in 2007.
Initially opening 2 branches, by 2012 the business had expanded to Ellesmere Port and opening 2 further branches in Bristol and Altrincham.
In 2014 Gary Dewhurst CEO appointed 4 directors to move the business forward.
John Sutcliffe and Rob Eyes are based in North West and Justine and Lee Buxton in the South West.
To date we have 6 branches and are always looking to grow and expand with acquisitions that fit in with our Driving Force vision.
At Driving Force we reward committed, enthusiastic and dedicated team members and welcome new ideas and concepts that will improve the business.
We can provide multi-drop van driver positions as well as transport and logistics positions and executive search functions, not just the temporary assignments

Rob Eyes
Director
Class 1, Class 2, 7.5t drivers – you name it, Rob’s sourced it. And he makes the most of fifteen years’ industry experience to currently provide a regular supply of professional drivers to more than 100 companies every day. This breadth and scope of service has dramatically raised the profile of Driving Force within the North West.
John Sutcliffe
Director
They say there’s no substitute for experience; so John’s 20+ years in driving recruitment means you’re getting service and advice with real depth and background. John also has a track record in rising through ranks following improved business performance. In fact, in his nine years with Driving Force, he has progressed from Branch Manager to UK Ops Manager to Director.
Justine Buxton
Director
Morrisons, Culina, Sainsbury’s: Justine’s 10-year CV of companies she’s worked with reads like a Who’s Who of operations with huge fleets needing all the reliable drivers they can muster. This has provided Justine with the perfect grounding for her critical role within Driving Force – making sure we offer a 100% legal and compliant workforce.
Lee Buxton
Director
Driving Force’s operation in the South West has only been up-and-running for five years. However, Lee has already led it to substantial growth – with a spreading reputation for excellence.
To help achieve this performance, Lee has drawn extensively on over 20 years’ experience in both logistics and driving recruitment working in some of the UK’s largest agencies.
