HGV Class 1 Driver

Job : HGV1 Driver Trunking

Location: Avonmouth (BS10)

Start Times: Various AM & PM start times

PAYE: £16.50 - £21.00 P/H Plus holiday accrued

Contract Type: ongoing, guaranteed shift pattern, 15:00 - 03:00 starts

Shifts: Any days from Monday-Sunday, (Weekend Flexibility required)

Driving Force Recruitment are operating as an employment business and are currently seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth (BS10)

The Job will involve distributing refrigerated goods to RDC's on a regular route, including long haul transportation of goods between distribution hubs.

Start times and shift patterns are available to suit the candidate as they run a 7 day operation.

Rates:

£16.50 Days Monday to Friday

£18.00 Nights Monday to Friday

£20.00 Saturday

£21.00 Sunday

Drivers are responsible for the below

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to the transport office
• Maintain records of deliveries, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

·CPC and Digital Tachograph trained

·Newly passed drivers welcome

·Good level of English communication

·Must hold an English Driving license

·Must not have DR10 or MS90 on your license
