HGV1 Class 1 Driver

Job : HGV1 Driver 

Location: Severn Beach (BS35)

PAYE: £16.50 to £23.50  (Holiday accrued per shift)

Contract Type: Ongoing, guaranteed shift pattern.

Shifts: Any shifts from Monday – Sunday (Weekend flexibility required)

Start times: 0400 -0600 Days , 1400-1600 Nights  

Driving Force Recruitment are operating as an employment business and are currently seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our client based in Severn Beach (BS35) on The Range contract.

The Job will involve distributing retail products on single/double decked curtain sided trailers - 1- 2 drops per shift, no handball required.

Start times and shift patterns are available to suit the candidate as they run a 7 day operation.

Rates ; (option to have holiday pay on top available)

£16.50 Days (Week day)

£19.25 Night (Week day)

£21.00 Saturday

£22.34 Sunday

Drivers are responsible for the below

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to the transport office
• Maintain records of deliveries, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

·CPC and Digital Tachograph trained

·6 months minimum experience on HGV1

·Good level of English communication

·Must have held an English Driving license for a minimum of 6 months

·Must not have DR10 or MS90 on your license
