HGV Class 1 Driver

Driving Force Recruitment Ltd operating as an Employment Business are recruiting for ongoing Class 2 Drivers based out of the Milton Keynes area.

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of refrigerated goods across various locations.

Role:

Full time hours, option for a Rota shift pattern and temp to perm possible.

- 12hrs per shift guaranteed (48hrs per week + any overtime completed)

- Store Deliveries + collection of trays (some lifting will be involved)

- Maximum of 5 / 6 Store deliveries per day

- Truck to fridge delivery

- Weekly pay

Multidrop is required and will involve handball (off-loading cages and wheeling them into stores)

Work due to start immediately - ongoing work

Hourly Rate (PAYE ONLY):

Basic : £19.67 per hour (after training)

Overtime (on 5th Shift): £29.51 per hour

Assessment and Induction required:

- Driving assessment

- 2/3 weeks of training shifts paid as buddy shift @ £15.55 per hour

The Criteria & Benefits:

• Valid UK HGV Driving Licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Card
• MUST have 6 months on HGV 2 experience
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (No DD/DR/IN/CD/TT)
• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
• Transport goods to designated locations, maintaining delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
