HGV Class 1 Driver

Driving Force Recruitment Ltd operating as an Employment Business are recruiting for ongoing Class 1 drivers based out of the Milton Keynes area.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of refrigerated goods across various locations.

Role:

Full time hours, option for a Rota shift pattern, 12hrs per shift guaranteed

Nights start time anytime between 1600- 2000

Days start time anytime between 0100-0500

- All Class 1 work is predominantly Trunking work

- Breaks are paid

- Weekly pay

- Work due to start immediately - ongoing work

Hourly Rate (PAYE ONLY):

Basic: £22.34 per hour (first 48hrs)

Overtime: £33.51 per hour (after 48hrs)

The Criteria & Benefits:

• Valid UK HGV Driving Licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Card
• MUST have 12 months on HGV 1 experience
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (No DD/DR/IN/CD/TT)
• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
• Transport goods to designated locations, maintaining delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
