Position : HGV2 Driver

Location: Burton on Trent

Rates : (PAYE Including holiday pay)

£16.81 P/H

Shift Pattern: 05:00 Monday to Friday- Possible Night Outs.

Driving Force Recruitment Ltd operating as an Employment Business are recruiting for HGV 2 Driver for our award winning Client based in Burton on Trent.

The job will be delivering palletized goods to local businesses. Manuel work involved using a pump truck and tail lift.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery updates or delays
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
• Be able to strap loads and pull the curtain back.
• Use of a Tail lift and pump truck is required.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

· You’ll need a full UK driving license with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph

· Excellent communication skills

· 2 years minimum experience

· A safety-first mindset

· Reasonable physical fitness

· Max 6 points for minor offences (No DD/DR/IN/CD/TT)
