Driver CPC training aims to enhance road safety, improve driver skills, and ensure professional standards amongst commercial drivers.

All our drivers have already obtained their initial Driver CPC qualification, having completed a theory test, practical driving test, and a case study test, and undertaking 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to maintain their qualification.

But did you know we’re a fully qualified driving school for CPC training? We’re committed to helping drivers stay up to date with safe driving practices, so if you’d like us to support your new recruits through their initial training, or ensure your experienced drivers continue to improve their skills with their periodic modules, we’re here to help.

<p>Driving Force Recruitment are currently recruiting for AD HOC HGV Class2 drivers to work out of our client in Bury.</p>
<p><strong>Job Spec:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Monday to Friday shifts</li>
<li>Delivering Frozen and ambient goods to customers</li>
<li>Collect any paperwork for products distributed</li>
<li>Maintaining and recording product and vehicle temperatures</li>
<li>Minimum 8hrs per day</li>
<li>Overtime kicks in after 8hrs</li>
<li>Usual start times approx. 0500/0600 til finish</li>
<li>Will involve heavy lifting</li>
<li>Delivery to Schools, Colleges, Universities etc.</li>
<li>Vehicles are pre-loaded on pallets in the trailer</li>
<li>Candidates will then need to pick the orders off the pallets at point of delivery.</li>
<li>Could be up to 18 drops per day</li>
</ul>
<p>DBS Checks are ESSENTIAL before starting this role.</p>
<p>You will take part in at least 2 weeks of training to experience the full job role</p>
<p>This could be longer depending on how confident you feel, going out on your own</p>
